Today marks a historic event as Standing Rock water protector march on Washington D.C. in protest of a water pipeline threatening the watershed of 20 million Americans.

For a year Standing Rock Sioux Tribe's Camp of the Sacred Stones have been opposing a pipeline through their native Treaty land, without consent, agreement, and in violation with their core value of living in harmony with nature. To indigenous First Nations, water is the first medicine, the source of life, feminine, and the intimate elemental relationship with nature, our source and connection with Mother Earth.

As a result of USA President Trump fast-tracking Dakota Access Pipeline, fracking oil expected for foreign export, this action takes their call to Washington D.C. in peaceful, non-violent prayer, their sacred practice and reminder that we are the immigrants, guests on their land.
